Fresh graduate summarily dismissed at work after providing blunt personal feedback

Honesty isn't always the best policy, as one lass discovered after being promptly discarded by her employer following an individual review where she bluntly let rip some unsavoury observations.

The then fresh communications graduate was just two months into her job at a small marketing firm, when her boss sat her down for a "check in", asking how she found things so far. Gal waxed lyrical about her colleagues and the work itself, but....

she didn't mince her words with regards to the company's organizational structure, or lack thereof. She even put forth unvarnished recommendations on changing the status quo.

Merely 30 minutes later, she received a lengthy dismissal email, in which the boss wrote:"I believe we have different visions. And if you want to leave, you should leave!"

Oh well, important lesson learnt there. Silence is golden, especially when you are a newbie.

Here's hoping she has moved on to greener pastures since.
