 I have been teaching in schools since 2003, and coached students on a wide spectrum of Chemistry-related modules, these including Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Reaction Mechanisms, Forensic Chemistry as well as Analytical Chemistry among others. Through my vast teaching experience and extensive interactions with students accrued over the decades I am therefore able to accurately assess the individual learner's strengths and weaknesses, subsequently adjusting my methodologies to accommodate his/her learning needs. Nonetheless, as the current Chemistry syllabi focus very much on application techniques rather than sheer memorization, consistent effort and diligence is required on the student's part to score well. As a private tutor, I have coached students from mainstream/IP/IB schools, junior colleges/Pre-Us and polytechnics, on a one-to-one basis and also in pairs. |
