I am a full-time private tutor specializing in GCE 'O’Level Elementary and Additional Mathematics, as well as PSLE Mathematics tuition. I believe in inspirational teaching which serves to positively influence students in embracing Maths and understanding themselves better, that they are capable of achieving what they previously assumed they can't. My approach is to first understand my students' strengths and weaknesses, as such I can customize questions which focus on their weak areas. Through customization, students improve through discovering where they are falling behind in and doing questions they previously couldn't conquer on their own; this will certainly help them to build up their interest and confidence in the subject. From that point onwards, more challenging questions shall be distributed to reinforce their concepts and application skills. Also, I teach by simplifying complicated concepts and relating them to daily matters. Consequently, students are able to recall them better. Practices on commonly tested questions are also provided for drilling. A common happy utterance that I often receive from my charges is this: "Teacher!
