 I am currently the co-owner of Candela Learners Cove (formerly Eton Tuition Centre). Personally, I have taught both 'O' and 'A' Levels Maths and Physics for a decade. Over the years, I realised that learning takes place not just from spoon-feeding of information, but also through the students' personal investigation, reflection and realization. This forms the core of my teaching philosophy, and I'm constantly researching on the best practices to deliver content and instill conceptual understanding. I feel very upset when students score distinctions only for the subjects I taught them, but languish in those I don't. Hence the reason for joining Candela. Along with the centre, we seek the best tutors with excellent qualifications to ensure the best for all our students. |
