 I have held various financial management roles for 30-plus years, before retiring as a Chief Financial Officer in December 2016. I have taught accounting for more than two decades on a part-time basis to secondary school and junior college students, as well as university undergraduates and those seeking LCCI qualifications. I also previously delivered lessons in Financial Accounting at NUS circa 2009. Post-retirement, I hope to continue in my small, modest way to help Singapore students master accounting principles and train young people to join the accounting profession. Money is not a big consideration in the overall scheme of things; I am prepared to coach less financially well-off students who demonstrate the willingness to learn for free. |
