In addition to being a recipient of multiple awards whilst studying at the National University of Singapore, such as the Lee Kuan Yew Gold Medal and the Institution of Engineers Singapore Gold Medal, I was the valedictorian of my cohort.

I believe in mastering the fundamental skills of each topic, not by drilling, but by understanding the concepts. I never believe in drilling and memorizing, as this will never produce thinkers. Worse still, it may even accord learners unnecessary stress.

Although I specialize in Mathematics and Physics, my knowledge for other fields allow me to bring in relevant real world examples to my class. Not only will this serve to make lessons more interesting, it will also help motivate as well as spur students on, which I strongly believe is also part of my role as a tutor.
