I got caught with a note during my recent midterms

By Particular_Pie

I swear to God it was completely unintentional. I didn’t know I had accidentally left a piece of scribbling in my pocket until midway through the examination. Suffice to say, I panicked big time upon making the discovery. During my bid to dispose of it, I got caught red-handed by an invigilator who, of course, confiscated the note. I was allowed to continue sitting the paper, although my conduct is being investigated till date. I am damn well aware it was absolutely my fault for not checking in the first place, then again I am plain terrified of what consequences might ensue no thanks to this one silly mistake committed.

Frankly, I didn’t even know what I wrote on the crumpled scrap until it was later returned to me. Anyways they turned out to be rough workings based on some tutorial question attempted from the night before, therefore you can imagine how much I am freaking out right now. I haven’t been in such a situation before; I have always attended classes and my grades aren’t even that bad.

While I am almost resigned to the fact that I would probably be awarded a zero mark just so it’s fair for all the other candidates, I remain simultaneously fearful this could leave a permanent stain on my academic transcript. Why was I so careless and stupid? SIGH.
